During the early morning hours, sun it still rising, a big, almost black colt runs through the fog. His name is Ace of Spades. He is a very easy going horse, who loves running. Once he gets on the track though, he turns into the devil. he loved to win. He loved to BURRY his oponits.
As he continues his work, he was wearing down his ridder. With his head ot his chest, Ace still ran hard around the track.

Chocolate brown orbs followed the stunning colt around the track. Bay pelt shone in the morning sun. Hedgehunter longingly, almost desperately, wanted to run; she had not run for so long. But, since that wonderful Grand National her leg had felt like stone. Althopugh, now it was ready she could run once more - now all she needed was a chance to test it.

Ace looked over, not moving his head, at the fea. His eyes met hers for a sec. Almost as if he is saying, "lets race!" He looked infront of him as he was almost coming to the far turn. he started to pull more on his rider, he knew when it was time to let loose.

She caught his penetrating stare & instantly knew that she could beat him. Her returning whicker confirmed that she would & would hopefully get the attention fo a bored stable-hand. She had to race!

Ace was still pulling on the bit, as he saw hedge still wanting to run, he called to her Just come on! he said as he jumped free from the hold of the rider, and took off on tot he stretch,

She jumped onto the track & beated up until she was just behhind Ace.
Hi
she said,
Prepare to eat my dust
her speed was suddenly twice as fast, just enough to push her infront of Ace. She could not hold the pace for very long because of how unfit she was. Box rest for a year had done her no good, pulling up she nickered to Ace & laid down at the side of the track.

Ace could not follow the vix because of the rider, but he stared at her. When he came to a stop, his rider dismounted and lead him to her, to look her over.
"Jeez, you got some kick! You a jumper?"

She smiled as Ace approached.
Yeah, just a bit out of shape. I won the Grand National in 2004
she said smiling with pride,
I'm a bit out of shape now though, what do you specialise in?

Ace was speechless. the grand national! he thought to himself.
"You must be a HELEVA runner then!"
He said as he was in awe of the mares physical appearance.
"I am a flat racer. I won the Belmont Futurity, and I am trying to win the Kentucky Derby!"

she said, he was pretty cool. The only other word she could think of to describe him was amazing.

Ace raised his head
"Lord no!" He said intensly "I can't jump over hay!" He said while laughing.
He was still amazed on teh mare, how she was the grand national, and now she couldn't bare to run down a stretch.

she said cheekily, his body was amazing though. He was lucky smaller muscles on his rump - hers were huge for all the power & sudden spped. She needed to improve her stamina though.

He was still thinking I am talking to a winner of thevgrand national!
He looked up an saw alot of people runnign twords them Uh oh, I guess its almost time to say bye!

Ace whinned loudly, which caused the people to run faster, and his groom to get a tight hold.
That sounds like fun! Do you really wana?
he looked at his groom, and saw she wasn't focused to much on him
